CPC members praised by Xi

On the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, let's take a look at eight CPC members who have won praise from Party chief and President Xi Jinping since 2012.
Luo Yang (1961-2012)
The tragic loss of Luo was not only for his family and his firm, but also for the country, Xi said in his personal condolence message in 2012.

Luo Yang, on-site director-in-chief of the widely anticipated J-15 and chairman and general manager of Shenyang Aircraft Corp, left behind a proud milestone for the histories of the Chinese navy and aviation industry. He spent his last seven days aboard the Liaoning, preparing for the eye-catching landing of the carrier-borne J-15.
Throughout his 30-year career in the aviation industry, he also contributed to the birth of such fighter jets as the J-8 and J-11.
