Riverside Group to expand influence by tapping into art industry

Riverside Group Co Ltd, a Beijing-based property developer focusing on high-end town development and operation, seeks to expand its business in the field of humanities and art, said the company's top management.
The company's newly opened art gallery will be another step for the company to further enter into the art industry and thereby strengthening its corporate craftsmanship spirit, enlarging its cultural influence and improving the quality of its products, said Ling Zhenwen, CHO of Riverside.
"Companies that only focus on profits will neglect product's quality and lack the spirit to pursue perfection," said Ling. "The art museum is a strategic way for our company to establish public recognition and improve customer experiences," said Ling.
In 2016, the company held its first art exhibition, including close to 100 authentic works of Picasso, valued at 1 billion euro ($1.16 billion). In 2017, it held the second art exhibition on Andy Warhol, exhibiting about 250 works from collectors worldwide.
"We want to offer our customers with a more diversified living environment rather than simply a residential building," he said. "It will include houses to reside, parks to entertain, medical system to ensure health and museums to educate and inspire."
Founded in 1986, the company has dedicated itself to creating quality life for Chinese people. So far, its business line includes high-end residence industry, leisure and recreation, culture and art, holiday tourism and healthcare.
