China and Brazil safeguard multilateralism, economic globalization and free trade


The two countries should jointly promote cooperation between China and the Latin America, Wang said, adding that both sides should strengthen communication and coordination within the international multilateral mechanisms and deepen strategic mutual trust and collaboration.
Nunes said that Brazil always upholds friendly policy to China and relations with China is the priority of Brazil's diplomacy.
Brazil is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with China within multilateral mechanisms and jointly opposes trade protectionism, he said.
Bilateral trade volume between China and Brazil reached $87.54 billion last year. Brazil is the largest trading partner of China in the Latin America and China is Brazil’s largest trading partner and destination of exports.
