People pay tribute to legendary emperor Huangdi

Around 10,000 people attended a ceremony in Huangling county, northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Thursday to pay homage to Huangdi, also known as the Yellow Emperor.

The ceremony has been a tradition on Tomb-sweeping Day, which falls on April 5 this year. Chinese mourn their deceased family members on the holiday.
