SW China police seize 28 kg of meth

KUNMING -- Police in Southwest China's Yunnan province said Thursday that they had seized 28 kg of methamphetamine found among tea leaves.
Police in Mojiang county in the city of Puer found 41 bags of meth mixed with tea leaves Monday, when checking vehicles on an expressway, according to an officer with the county public security bureau.
Suspicious of the driver, police searched a minibus thoroughly and found the drug hidden in sacks of tea. They arrested the driver on the spot and his accessory the next morning.
Further investigation is under way.
