Xi welcomed the ambassadors to China and expressed his sincere greetings and good wishes to the leaders and people of their countries.

The Chinese government will provide support for the work of the ambassadors, and hopes that they will actively contribute to bilateral relations and friendship between China and their countries, Xi said.

Xi said China attaches great importance to its ties with the six countries and would like to further consolidate friendship, enhance mutual trust, promote pragmatic cooperation, deepen people-to-people exchanges and cooperate more in international affairs.

The ambassadors conveyed congratulations from their state leaders to Xi on his re-election as Chinese President.

The ambassadors expressed warm congratulations on the successful annual sessions of the Chinese National People's Congress (NPC) and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

They spoke highly of the achievements of China's reform and opening-up, and expressed the belief that China will contribute more to common global development while also realizing its own development.

They said their countries highly value relations with China, and they will be committed to promoting friendly relations between their countries and China to realize win-win results.
