China Mobile recorded 740 billion yuan ($117 billion) in revenue in 2017, up 4.5 percent from last year, as the world's largest mobile carrier by subscribers benefits from strong performance in telecom services.
The company said on Thursday that it has posted 114.3 billion yuan in net profits in the same time frame, up 5.1 percent year-on-year.
China Mobile said the rise is partly due to a good performance in family communication services and the government procurement market.
Shang Bing, chairman of China Mobile, said the company's efforts to build an internet of things ecosystem has paid off.
