1 dead in school bus accident in Alabama

WASHINGTON - One person was killed and dozens of others were injured in a bus accident in the state of Alabama, local authorities confirmed Tuesday.

The incident took place Tuesday morning in Baldwin County. The bus carrying dozens of high school students went off the road on Interstate 10 and plunged into a ravine.

Baldwin County Sheriff's office confirmed that one person had died and the injured had been taken to nearby hospitals.

The bus was reportedly carrying the students back to Texas after a visit to Disney World in Florida.
