11 killed, 44 injured in bus crash in Eskisehir, Turkey

At least 11 people were killed and 44 others injured in a bus accident in Turkey's northwestern Eskisehir province.

The accident took place early Saturday when the bus carrying a tour group from capital Ankara to northwestern Bursa province, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported.

The driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed against trees along the roadside.

Eskisehir Governor Ozdemir Cakacak told media that the the drivers of the bus were detained and the reason is under investigation.
