Schueco International KG - the leading international supplier of high-quality windows, doors and facade systems - pledged to continue its growth in China and to expand its investments to secure more opportunities.

As one of the leading system solution experts for high-quality windows, doors and facades made from aluminum and PVC-U, Schueco offers products and consultation worldwide, which meet the highest requirements in terms of design, comfort, security and energy efficiency.

The company, which has been operating in China for 18 years, has experienced significant growth over the past few years. In 2017, its year-on-year sales revenue is expected to achieve double digit growth, one of the best in its history in China, according to Guenter Strauss, executive director Schueco Greater China.

“We are expanding our business by increasing our investment in more office space, product development and recruiting more professionals,” Strauss said.

He added that the group has expanded its operations in China in 2017 with more than 50 new employees recruited.

Currently, Schueco is upgrading its flagship showroom and training center in Shanghai to introduce its latest products and solutions to Chinese customers.

Strauss said Schueco’s success is supported by various factors, including its premium brand, highly motivated and excellent workforce, great relationship with developers and the best partners in China.

But the most important factor is premium quality, which plays an irreplaceable role in promoting Schueco’s long-term growth in China, according to Strauss.

“We adhere to the strategy of putting quality first. Schueco delivers more than a good system. We commit ourselves to innovative technologies and all-round services, satisfying our customers with unrivalled product solutions as well as a standardized fabrication and installation process.”

To realize this concept, Schueco recruited project site inspectors, who are required to oversee the project implementation from an early stage, such as to support the fabrication process in the partner’s workshop and the installation on the construction site as well. This is a unique service for the Chinese market and shows Schueco’s “zero tolerance” for quality problems.

Currently, Schueco’s products are mainly used in commercial projects: such as airports, high-end hotels, etc; residential high-rises or villas; and renovations or new decoration by private property owners in China.

According to Strauss, the residential business accounts for the biggest part of the company's annual sales revenue. He said he believes that people’s increasing demand for comfortable living and willingness to improve their existing homes will create tremendous opportunities for Schueco in China.

The company is preparing to expand into the retail sector to serve more end-users. It launched its online flagship store on JD.com in September this year, so as to get closer to more consumers.

Schueco brought system solutions developed in Germany to China and all around the world with the same quality. Besides the standard solutions, the company also develops customized systems to meet the local regulations on buildings and fulfill the requirements on special climate conditions. For commercial buildings in China, facades for each project need to be developed and customized according to special designs. Another example is the Schueco VentoLife, a window integrated air-purification and ventilation system specifically developed for the Chinese market. It has now also been introduced to other international markets.

“No doubt there is an increasing market here in the long-term,” Strauss said. “People pursue building solutions with unique design, comfort, energy-saving properties, security and sustainability.”
