Students, including boys, knit scarves for 100 sanitation workers
More than 100 sanitation workers recently received handmade scarves from the students of Northeast Normal University.
124 students, including several boys, from School of Physics bought knitting wool at their own expense and finish the knitting work in their rest time.
“This is the third time that the school has organized such an activity,” said Li Jindi, the Youth League secretary. “However, it is the first time that some boys were also attracted. We were surprised to see their ingenuity.”
“I was taught by my girl classmate and I found it so interesting,” said Yan Xuhui, a shy freshman. “I spent 10 hours on my scarf and I will continue to attend such activities in the future.”
“This scarf is the most beautiful one I have ever owned,” said Sun Xicai, a sanitation worker of Nanguan District. “And it made me feel warm in the extremely cold winter.”
