MONTREAL, July 28 - Otylia Jedrzejczak of Poland set a world record of two minutes 05.61 seconds in the final of the women's 200 metres butterfly at the world championships on Thursday.

Jedrzejczak beat the previous record of 2:05.78 which she set at the 2002 European championships in Berlin.
