Two injured in twin blasts in Pakistan's Lahore

LAHORE, Pakistan: At least two people were injured Thursday night in twin blasts in the outskirts of eastern Pakistan's city of Lahore, local sources said.

The blasts were caused by the crackers triggered off by unknown miscreants at Noori Boori shrine at Kot Abdul Malik area, outskirts of Lahore. Hundreds of devotees were present at the site as a ceremony was underway at the shrine, witnesses said.

Two people were hurt in the blasts and were rushed to city's hospital by the rescuers, while police cordoned off the area after the incident and launched the probe.
