Pakistan's nuclear father discharged from hospital

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's nuclear father Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan has been shifted to his residence after being discharged from hospital.
The official APP news agency Sunday quoted sources as saying that D Khan was shifted to his residence after gaining significant improvement in his health.
Further treatment as required would be provided to Khan at his residence, the sources added.
Khan was admitted to hospital on March 5 with symptoms of fever and low blood pressure.
Later, he was treated for enteric fever and endotoximia infection. He was also examined by cardiologists and his heart was found healthy with normal functioning.
He is being treated by a group of doctors of his choice.
