Job hunting in China's competitive job market is such a time- and energy-consuming process that most job hunters need to put aside at least months to find a satisfactory job. The volunteer experience at the Expo is no doubt an excellent addition to a student's resume. However, most graduating students who are currently working as volunteers at the Expo may not have to spend that much time focusing on job hunting.

The Chinese Private Enterprise Pavilion has launched a series of job fairs for volunteers at the Expo, most of whom will find themselves out of work on Oct 31, when the six-month event ends.

Three fairs were held in September. These saw 10 private enterprises offer 400 positions to 130 graduates at the pavilion, giving them an average of three positions each from which to choose.

Besides the job fairs, the students have also learned a lot from the volunteers' training program offered by the pavilion.
