Shennongjia applies for World Natural Heritage

Shennongjia is located in northwestern Hubei province. The region's forest coverage rate is over 90 percent, and nature reserve forest coverage is up to 96 percent. National Park network was created by the United States 100 years ago to protect natural resources, which now has become a globally recognized model.
