Sydney - More than 203,300 people visited the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Sydney, Australia, in the last fiscal year, the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority said.

The garden was officially opened in 1988 as part of Sydney's bicentennial celebrations, and it was named the Garden of Friendship, symbolizing the bond established between China and Australia.

The garden contains numerous rock sculptures, buildings and other features donated by Chinese provincial governments.

In Australia, the garden, known for its peace and tranquillity, serves as a unique haven in the bustling Darling Harbour district. The guestbook in the garden is filled with praises by visitors from all over the world. A random reading will find words like, “amazing, peaceful, breathtaking… ”

The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority also said the luscious green paradise has become a popular wedding location for hundreds of couples.
