HANGZHOU -- Mike Harris, who was released by Houston Rocket in October, apologized on Tuesday to China's Zhejiang Chouzhou Commercial Bank Club for his breach of the contract.
And the club has also announced that it has accepted Harris' apology.
But Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank Club was informed afterwards that Harris had decided not to play for the club for some family issues.
The club expressed its understanding for Harris' failure to honor his deal before Harris announced to join another CBA team in Shanghai four days later.
The Chouzhou Bank Club appealed to China Basketball Association (CBA) which suspended Harris's registration. The Club said that everything would open to discuss as long as Harris apologizes.
