Ronaldo resumes training

RIO DE JANEIRO -- Former super star Ronaldo on Sunday resumed training with Brazilian's Corinthians which returned to the first division.

The team's third collective practice saw Ronaldo returning to train with the ball. Ronaldo was seen jogging in place and returning the ball to his trainer with his head, chest, shoulders and knees. He is under the close care of the team's physical therapist Bruno Maziotti.

Fans and media were excited to see ronaldo returning to have contact with the ball.

After the New Year, the team will return to practise for at least another 15 days in preparation for the Sao Paulo state tournament.
