ROME -- Inter Milan winger Ricardo Quaresma has been named as worst player in Italian Serie A, taking over the indecent designation from teammate Adriano.

Inter Milan may be dominating in Italy on the pitch but it seems that some of their players have been failing to impress.

Brazil forward Adriano won the award the last two years and now his Portugal winger teammate is the new holder.

Quaresma picked up more than 17 percent of the vote ahead of two previous winners, Atalanta's veteran former Italy striker Christian Vieri and Adriano with 10.21 percent and 9.44 percent respectively.

The award is voted for on a popular radio show called Catersport on Rai's Radio2.
