HOCKENHEIM, Germany, July 31 - Ferrari team boss Jean Todt says he will announce his future after the end of the Formula One season.

The Frenchman, whose contract expires at the end of the year, told reporters at the German Grand Prix that his team's 2007 driver line-up would be confirmed well before his decision was made known.

"About the team organisation, end of the season," Todt said when asked whether he would be staying for the next couple of years.

"Most of the time it has been like that, so it's nothing strange, nothing new. The drivers, we need to announce it earlier for different reasons, contracts and all that.

"The day I leave, I will not leave to go to any similar job or position, so that makes things much easier for announcing things," he added.

Ferrari, with seven-times world champion Michael Schumacher at the end of his contract and considering retirement, have said they will announce their drivers at their home Italian Grand Prix at Monza in September.

The season ends in Brazil on October 22.

Todt, who has been at Ferrari since 1993, said Schumacher could continue with the team as long as he wanted.
