Siming district spotlights film culture with Amoy Starlight Concert

The Amoy Starlight Concert, hosted by Siming district, was staged at the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Starlight Coast on Nov 13.

That evening, the starlight coast beneath the Yanwu Bridge was ablaze with vibrant, dynamic lights. On stage, singers delivered powerful performances, showcasing their youth and charm. The audience responded with infectious enthusiasm, engaging and swaying to the energetic rhythms, thoroughly immersed in the unique joy of the moment.

The concert created a vibrant tapestry of sound, featuring classic songs from productions filmed in Xiamen and iconic themes from Golden Rooster award-winning movies. This melodic journey allowed the audience to traverse the city's luminous memories and reflect on the celebrated journey of Chinese film, all through the power of music.

During the event, the theme song Golden Rooster in Siming premiered. Since hosting the Golden Rooster Awards, Siming district has expanded its film culture through a number of key initiatives, achieving significant results.

The Starlight Concert series has become a cornerstone cultural brand in Siming, offering a monthly program of "cinematic classics" dedicated to enriching community life through accessible arts.

The night was further animated by a dynamic lineup of events, including the award ceremony for the "Amoy Starlight Singer Season" and the Starlight Market.
