On August 5, the matchmaking symposium of the 2014 Summer Davos Forum was convened in its host city, Tianjin.
Representatives from the 24 working groups and related departments of the forum’s preparatory committee attended the symposium, and reported their work in progress.
Ren Xuefeng, deputy mayor of the city, particularly highlighted the importance of hardware and software facilities, the reception of guests from home and abroad, and the press campaign in preparing for the forum in September.
