Guests from home and abroad attended the Cultural Soiree of Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2012 which was sponsored by Tianjin Municipal Government on Sept 12, enorth.com.cn reported.

Huang Xingguo, mayor of Tianjin Municipal Government and Klaus Schwab Founder and Executive Chairman of World Economic Forum (WEF), addressed the conference.
Huang Xingguo welcomed the guests attending the forum in his speech. “Where we standing here is the living room of the Tianjin people, boasting theatres, art museums, libraries, natural museums, kids centers and shopping centers,” said Huang Xingguo.
"I hope all of you can enjoy yourself here in Tianjin," Huang went on to say.
World Economic Forum (WEF) Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab also addressed the Soiree and said he was impressed with the development of Tianjin. He was grateful for the warm and considerate services of this year’s host city, who attached great significance to culture.
The performance began with group dancing Tianjin Welcomes You. Dancing, acrobatics, and Peking Opera were all seen at the soiree.
During the Soiree, guest also enjoyed Tianjin folk arts such as Kite, drawing, paper cutting and clay sculpture which expressed them a lot. Dombrovskis, Prime Minister of Latvian, Arthur Mutambara, deputy Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, and He Lifeng, deputy secretary of CPC Tianjin Municipal Government, and Zhu Min, vice president of IMF, attended the Soiree. The Soiree was hosted by Ren Xuefeng, vice mayor of Tianjin Municipal Government.
