Int'l logistics day to kick off in SW China

The 8th China International Logistics Day will be held from May 6 to 8, in Kunming, the capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province.

About 100 companies from Southeast Asia have confirmed to participate in the event.

The theme of this year's event is "International Logistics—the forefront and development". The event will focus on the internationalization of logistics, discussing and sharing information concerning development patterns, successful experience and important innovations in this area.

Activities such as the "Global Forum on Logistics" and "Summit on implementing the Gateway Strategy of Kunming" will be held and all the participants will visit the "Great International Passage" from Kunming to Bangkok, Thailand.
