Qingxing iron tower capacity increases 150,000 tons

Qixing Iron Tower Co Ltd added 150,000 tons of iron towers to its annual production as a first-stage project since the recent operation of the Qindao branch company.
Headquartered in Zouping, Shandong province, the company started to establish a new workshop at its branch company in the coastal city of Qindao in May 2010. Once construction is complete and with a total backing of 1.06 billion yuan ($167.3 million), the project is expected to produce a total of 200,000 tons of iron towers annually.
Last year saw the company have a combined annual output of about 120,000 tons, including 100,000 tons of angular towers and 20,000 tons of tubular towers.
Qixing makes a wide variety of products, ranging from transmission line towers, telecom tower and parking systems to substation structures and steel structures. Its products have been exported to more than 30 countries, including India, Myanmar, Iraq, Spain, Ethiopia, Libya, Kenya, Zambia, Rwanda, Angola, Dominica and Senegal.
Its main business partners include China State Grid Corp, South Power Grid Corp, Reliance Group of India and Zhongxing Telecommunications Equipment.
