The headquarters of Sichuan Hydropower Group will move to the Wenjiang district of Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province.

The group, together with its six branches in Chengdu, will move to the district in October, according to group chairman Zhang Zhiyuan.

After the group is located in Wenjiang, the new site will become the decision-making, fund resettlement, resource and talent allocation center of Sichuan's local power industry, Zhang said.

The group's entry into Wenjiang is a recognition of the district's building of a State-level modern service industry experimental zone, said Tian Rong, Wenjiang party chief.
