SHANGHAI - Nilfisk Advance, the world's leading manufacturer of professional cleaning equipment from Denmark, introduces its new cleaning technology at China Clean Expo 2011 on Wednesday as part of its business expansion at the Chinese market.

"China, a big potential market, needs advanced cleaning technology and equipment to help cut costs of saving resources from overuse and protecting environment from pollution," said Jens Skovrup, regional director of Nilfisk Advance Asia.

"We are committed to bringing the latest advanced technology to China, for it has become a major market for Nilfisk Advance," said Skovrup.

The new cleaning equipment, which is being displayed at the expo which will be closed on Thursday, uses the new technology EcoFlex system, which was developed in late 2010, to help reduce water by 30 per cent to 50 per cent compared to traditional facilities, said Skovrup, adding that it will also reduce use of cleanser.

Nilfisk Advanced, which entered China in 2002, has set up plants in Suzhou of Jiangsu province, Ningbo of Zhejiang province and Dongguan of Guangdong province to manufacture cleaning facilities.

Frank Cao, business development manager of Nilfisk-Advance Cleaning Equipment (Shanghai) Co Ltd, said the company is taking great pains to push forward sales of the new equipment in China. ``A promotion campaign is being launched in the country," he said.

The company will set up a warehouse first at the Waigaoqiao Bonded Area in Pudong for new cleaning equipments imported from abroad. "We will consider local production when the market expands," he said.
