Wuhan city cluster to get 12.3 b investment

A total of 12.3 billion yuan ($1.81 billion) will be invested this year in nine projects in the Wuhan city cluster in Central China's Hubei province.

As of June 6, 3.47 billion yuan had been invested.

Last year, the Hubei provincial government decided to designate a 300 million-yuan fund each year for three years to support the development of the nine projects.

Wuhan 1+8 city cluster refers to a group with Wuhan as the core and a diameter of 100 kilometers, including Wuhan, and eight surrounding cities, Huangshi, Ezhou, Xiaogan, Huanggang, Xianning, Xiantao, Qianjiang andTianmen.
