Nannies arrive in Beijing to relieve shortage

Sixty nannies from Zhuozhou stand in formation for a review in Beijing on Feb 3, 2010. Zhuozhou is a city 80 kilometers to the southwest of Beijing. These nannies, aged 25 to 45, received professional training before coming to the capital. With the traditional Chinese New Year fast approaching, Beijing is experiencing a shortage of nannies, as most of them return to their hometowns during this period. [Photo/CFP]
