A tribute to Ngapoi
Ngapoi Ngawang Jigme, a senior Chinese legislator and political advisor, passed away in Beijing on Wednesday. He was 99. Ngapoi, of Tibetan ethnicity, was one of the founders of the Tibet autonomous region and the first chairman of the regional government. [chinanews.com.cn]
