Ninglang Luguhu Airport opening later this year

Construction work on the Ninglang Luguhu Airport, at Lugu Lake, Yunnan province, is expected to be completed before the National Day holiday, according to the Civil Aviation Administration.
It is expected to be able to cater to 450,000 passengers and handle 900 tons of cargo by 2020. Work on it started on April 24, 2013, and things are going in line with Yunnan government requirements.
According to the head of the Airport Construction Management Co, the terminal building is getting its interior decoration, at a cost of 1,194 million yuan ($1.20billion). The equipment and flights take-off and landing were tested in May and June.
