Lugu Lake-A winter wonderland

The Lugu Lake, generally known as the last piece of mysterious land in China, is 200 kilometers away from the Lijiang city, Yunnan province.

The formation of the lake is thought to have occurred in a geological fault and sank into an alpine lake. The lake Located at the boundary of Yanyuan county of Liangshan Yi autonomous prefecture, southwest China's Sichuan province and Ninglang Yi Autonomous county of Lijiang, Yunnan province.

Lugu Lake's winter may not be cold while its summer may not be hot as well, however, your heart will warm in the deep which will make you linger on and have no thoughts of leaving.

Caohai Lake

Caohai Lake is in the southeast of Lugu Lake, which forms the end of the Lugu. It is also the heart of the Lugu Lake. The most gorgeous season is the autumn where Lugu Lake will provide you a world of golden yellow. Wild duck eggs can be found in the reeds.

Walking Marriage Bridge

A wooden bridge over Caohai Lake named "Walking Marriage Bridge" is a must-see for every tourist who visit Lugu Lake. "Walking Marriage Bridge" is considered as "the First Magpie Bridge". This is also a great place to watch the sunset.

Bowa Bay

The bay between Luowa Peninsula and Bowa Peninsula is one of the most beautiful bay in Lugu Lake. Pure white florets floating on the crystal-clear water surface, as if the starry night. Bays and hills, blossoms of flowers, cypress trees standing straight and topped with leaves, what a marvelous scene!

Sweetheart Tree

On the hills of the Bowa Peninsula, two pines lurched left and right to shape like an arched door. It is known as the "Lovers' Tree" among Mosuo people. And the Picturesque Bowa Peninsula is the most place where lovers indulge in pleasure.
