Lijiang's 20 villages enter the list of Traditional Chinese Village

According to Lijiang's urban and rural construction bureau, the city's 20 villages have entered the third batch of Traditional Chinese Village lists. There are now 48 national traditional villages in Lijiang, Lijiang Daily reported.

Lijiang has paid great attention to the protection of the city’s traditional villages. According to the 2010 Lijiang City General Plan, the protection of villages would play an important role in the city’s protection of traditional culture. Based on the 2010 Lijiang City General Plan, the city has actively carried out planning work to protect Lijiang’s local villages. Lijiang has created the profiles for a total of 123 villages in Lijiang to better carry out the work of protecting those villages.
