China Colored Cotton Science and Technology Garden covers an area of 117,800 square meters. It has seven tourism functional zones - China Cotton Museum, Colored Cotton Science and Technology Research Exhibition, Colored Cotton Brands Fair, Professional Indoor Sports Venue, Colored Cotton Zoo and Colored Cotton Park. As a leading scenic spot integrating industrial tourism, agricultural tourism, tourism relating to scientific research, scientific knowledge popularization and education, the garden’s tourism resources are full of unique characteristics that cannot be duplicated. The project serves not only as an achievement demonstration base but also a science popularization base for tourists at home and abroad to visit. In the meantime, tourists can investigate the research, breeding, production and development situation of China’s natural colored cotton.

4. Basic construction scale:

Plans to build it into the largest cotton museum and the only colored cotton tourism and science popularization base in China.

5. Early preparation:

Since its foundation, the colored cotton garden has invested more than 200 million yuan. It is 17 kilometers away from the city of Urumqi and 14 kilometers from Changji. With Urumqi-Changji and Urumqi-Kuitun, the two high-grade highways leading straight to the garden, a five-minute car ride will take you to the Chaiwopu International Airport. The south, west and north Urumqi railway stations are only a respective 30, 10 and 20-minute car ride away. Since its foundation, the garden has received hundreds of officials including Party and State leaders and leaders from various ministries and commissions. In addition, foreigners, study delegations and tourists also flocked to the garden, totaling 360 thousand people.
