SF Express, Shentong, Yuantong, and Yunda Express may suspend operations during the Spring Festival, from Feb 7 to 12, Karamay Daily reported.

"I received a message from the online shop saying orders ahead of Feb 2 may get delivery while other orders will have to wait until Feb 14," said Liu Wanyun, a Karamay woman who likes online shopping.

Yang Peng, general manager of Yuantong Express, noted that Yuantong will have holidays from Feb 7 to 11 and will resume operation on Feb 12.

Yang also noted that the parcels may not get smooth delivery even when operations resume on Feb 12 because of possible transportation limits. Experience indicates that normal delivery may wait until Feb 21, the Chinese Lantern Festival.
