Karamay hosts the third information technology innovation academic forum

The third information technology innovation academic forum was held in the Saussurea Hotel on Sept 4, 2014. The topic was geographic public service information under the technical support of cloud computing and big data.

 

11 keynote speeches were made by experts and scholars from the National Mapping Geographic Information Bureau, National Geomatics Center, Xinjiang Mapping Geographic Information Bureau, and Peking University.

 

The speeches were about the construction concept of a Central Asia space information hub framework, prospects for the Xinjiang mapping geographic information industry, and the construction of Karamay world map data centers.

 

Li Zhigang, chief engineer of the National Mapping Geographic Information Bureau, made a speech on the concept of construction of a Central Asia spatial information hub frame. Cheng Chengqi, director of China GIS Engineering and Application Professional Committee delivered a lecture entitled geographic split coding technology in support of big data searching. Ban Xinhu, department manager of Beijing Petroleum Ruifei Information Technology Company discussed management solutions for pipeline network safety operations.
