Huocheng sets up its first chamber of commerce

The Huocheng county, in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region has established its first chamber of commerce in a ceremony on Dec 5 2014.

During the ceremony, more than one hundred of the county’s entrepreneurs attending the meeting to elect the chamber’s first session of board members, which resulted in the appointment of Diao Kuilin, general manager of the Ili Gaojing Estate Co. headquarters in Xinjiang, as chairman, along with 11 other members.

Speaking at the event, Diao Kuilin said that the chamber of commerce would create more opportunities for the Huocheng's entrepreneurs to cooperate with each other, as well as make more contributions to Huocheng's trade and business progress by promoting Huocheng's brands and cultural values.

Ge Guo, the Party secretary of Huocheng was on hand at the ceremony and expressed his warm congratulations to the chamber of commerce's establishment. He made the promise that the Huocheng government would try its best to help the chamber of commerce and expected that the chamber would take full advantage of its position to develop Huocheng's economy.

Huocheng's vice Party secretary Liu Tao also showed entrepreneurs a nearby industrial park housing small to mid-sized companies on Dec 5, as well as the Ili Tuokai logistic center and other factories in Huocheng.

Businessmen present at the ceremony collectively owned dozens of well-known enterprises, ranging from real estate, finance, furniture to trade logistics; and are looking to become an important power in boosting Huocheng's economy.
