Shenyang Art Festival approaches

The Shenyang Art Festival will be held in the city from Sept 20 to Oct 30, according to local authorities.

The organizer has been seeking designs for the festival’s official logo since the beginning of August, and more than 120 designs have been collected from all over the country, among which 70 percent are from other provinces.

This year’s festival will be divided into four parts and more than 80 performances will be held, including operas, dramas, acrobatics, singing, dancing, symphonies, and magic shows. Performers from all over the world will be invited to participate.

Several art exhibitions will also be held during the festival, and free tickets to performances will be offered to residents.

Last year, more than 350,000 people took part in the event, and this year that number is expected to grow.
