The 2019 Northeast China (Shenyang) Musical Instrument Culture and Music Education Exhibition was successfully held in Shenyang, hitting all the right notes, according to the organizers.
It opened at the Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Hall in Shenyang, Liaoning’s provincial capital, on June 27, with participation of around 200 companies from around the country and ran to June 30.
Hosted by the Liaoning musical instrument industry school-enterprise alliance, the Shenyang Conservatory of Music and the Yingkou musical instrument association, the event highlighted musical education in addition to the exhibition and sale of musical instruments.
The event featured 400 exhibition stands in four exhibition areas –– the piano area, national musical instruments area, western instruments area and a music education area, covering an area of more than 7,000 square meters.
Ji Huibin, dean of the Shenyang Conservatory of Music, addressed the opening ceremony and said the event would promote exchanges among organizations and companies in the country’s musical instrument industry, and help boost regional economic development.
During the exhibition, lectures, forums, and performances were also held, organizers said.
