On the south bank of Xiu Lake, Hui Mountain is the highest of the scenic mountain peaks, reaching 265 m above sea level at its tallest. Winter snow shining on the mountaintop can be seen dozens of miles away. Miao Runyu, a poet in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), named the mountain “Sunny Snow”.

One of the busiest rivers in ancient China, Hunhe River carried summer cargo ships and winter load sledges in all directions. Now, visitors can enjoy a magnificent ferry ride at dusk.
