Shengjing Grand Theatre is a new Shenyang landmark built to enrich the cultural lives of locals. Shaped like a diamond, the theatre allows visitors inside to enjoy Hunhe River landscape during the day, and allow passers-by to view performances from outside at night. Symphonies, traditional operas, and Western dramas are often staged at the theatre.

Shengjing Moulin Rouge highlights a large branded performance integrating drama, song, dance, acrobatics, magic and opera in a showcase of North China’s most attractive features and of Shenyang culture.

Shaped like a jade dragon, Liaoning Grand Theatre represents Hongshan culture, a Neolithic culture from what is now Chifeng city, Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The complex consists of large and small theatres, a cinema, multi-function halls, restaurants, bars and rehearsal rooms. It hosts a range performances, from ballet and opera to concerts and plays.

Zhonghua Theatre is the only well-preserved wooden theatre in Shenyang. Once home to a famous acrobatic show, Cai Shaowu’s cycling stunts, the theare has, since 2009, become a prominent platform for dramatic performance.

Built in 1908, Liulaogen Stage is the oldest theatre in Shenyang. Renamed Liulaogen Stage after famous comic, Zhao Benshan, began performing errenzhuan (a popular musical and dramatic folk art of Northeast China) there in 2003, the theatre has now become the main theater for errenzhuan shows.

Morin Khuur Banquet Venue is a sophisticated entertainment center integrating performance and catering. In addition to barbecue and prairie-style food, the venue features a circular stage that hosts performances with traditional and modern Mongolian elements.
