Micro travel route 7: Travel for Anti-Japanese War historic sites

Recommended sites: the old site of Beidaying barracks, the old site of Mukden Young Men's Christian Association, the old site of Wang Tiehan’s office

The old site of Beidaying barracks is located at Liulin Street and was built in 1907, covering an area of 4 square kilometers. The warlord Zhang Zuolin’s army had been stationed here in the 1920s. It was the place the Chinese Northeast Army fired the first shot in the September 18th Incident, when Japanese forces attacked Shenyang.

The old site of Mukden Young Men's Christian Association is located in Chaoyang Street, covering an area of 1,700 sq m. It was not only a religious site but also a patriotic venue for efforts against Japanese aggression.

The old site of Wang Tiehan’s office is located at Beisijing Street where Wang Tiehan, a general in the Anti-Japanese War, lived from July 1946 to October 1948.
