Tianjin Port recently held a service promotion meeting for the hinterlands at the Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. The meeting is one of the highlights of the 21st China Tianjin Investment and Trade Fair and the 10th PECC International Trade and Investment Fair.
Ren Xuefeng, vice-mayor of Tianjin, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Liu Jiangang, deputy secretary general of Tianjin, hosted the meeting. The local port office, Tianjin customs, Tianjin inspection and quarantine bureau, and Tianjin Port (Group) Co all introduced relevant measures to serve hinterland economic development. Officials from the Binhai new district government; local government departments; and representatives from nearly 100 shipping, logistics, finance and trade companies from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia, as well as institutions and chambers of commerce from other provinces in Tianjin, were present at the meeting.
