Shandong holds summer camp for Chinese students living overseas

Hundreds of Chinese teenagers living overseas took part in a summer camp at Yantai University on July 25 to learn about the traditional Chinese culture of their ancestors, news.cn reported.

The students, who came from Finland, Austria, America, and Canada got the chance to take part in some traditional Chinese activities such as martial arts, traditional Chinese painting, seal cutting and Peking Opera.

Yu Xiangping, an art teacher from Yantai University teaches Chinese painting skills to a group of Chinese teenagers living overseas, who returned to Yantai to take part in a summer camp on July 25.
