Tai'an tourist satisfaction index ranks second in Shandong

The city of Tai'an, East China's Shandong province ranked second in a tourist satisfaction survey jointly conducted by the China Tourism Academy and the provincial Tourism Administration, scoring an impressive tourist satisfaction index of 81.39 in the first quarter.

The survey consisted of a field questionnaire, online reviews and ratings and complaints records from relevant government departments. Tai'an scored 80.96 in the questionnaire, taking the second place in Shandong province.

The city scored relatively high in several indicators including urban brand popularity and urban afforestation. Its transport facilities and urban road construction stand high in the public estimation, with the city having boosted growth of self-driving travelling and city tour sectors.

The tourist satisfaction index of the city's accommodation, shopping, cultural recreation, scenic attraction management and travel agency services were all ranked in the top three in Shandong province.
