Free Wi-Fi covers 32 major scenic spots at Mount Taishan

Since the launch of a free Wi-Fi program in July, it has covered 32 major scenic spots at Mount Taishan, China's most popular sacred mountain situated at Tai'an in East China's Shandong province.

In order to use free Wi-Fi service, tourists can search "TaiShanWiFi" on their WLAN-enabled smartphone and then have to click on "trial use" button. Furthers, they have to enter their cellphone numbers to obtain a password. Upon login, a user can also participate in various online activities.

As a world cultural and natural heritage site and one of China's 5A scenic areas, Mount Taishan attracts 5 to 6 million tourists, annually. Recently, at a tourism forum held in Yanbian, it has been named as one of China's 10 most beautiful famous mountains.

Meanwhile, in July and August, free Wi-Fi had also been launched at few other 5A scenic areas in Shandong and the program will gradually benefit all the 5A scenic spots of the province.
