The Qingqing Family Farm, in the town of Liangzhuang town, near the city of Tai'an, Shandong province, is a modern provincial modern farm business with an interesting twist – it sells online, with all kinds of vegetables available via Wechat, China’s famous messaging platform, and consumers can even get home delivery.

This demonstration farm handles everything, from production and processing, to warehousing and distribution, to a fresh food E-business, to sightseeing, with help from vegetable bases in Liangzhuang, which is considered “Shandong's top vegetable town”.

Shoppers can also enjoy picking up their produce themselves and some sightseeing activities at Qingqing Family farm, after registering as a Qingqing online farm member on Wechat.

The farm covers almost 700,000 square meters) and cost 45 million yuan ($7.24 million) for three vegetable processing centers, with the goal of providing the freshest vegetables to consumers and the focus on E-business.

To cover all bases, it is opening shops at place in the city where consumers can place an order and pick it up, in case of a lack of consumer trust in the quality and quantity of online vegetables. So far, it has 48 stores in Tai’an and plans to raise that to 120 ones this year.
