Endowment insurance cards provide convenience for residents

Residents in Taishan district of Tai'an city can now deposit money and go to hospital using one card, an endowment insurance card, My0538.com reported on Saturday.

The card includes pension funds and can be used for purchases in local supermarkets.

To date, Taishan district has established 146 sites for endowment insurance card services in its seven labor and social security substations and 118 villages and communities.

According to the city authority, another 206 service sites will be set up by the end of this year. By then, the service sites will cover all the villages in the district.

In addition, 352 service machines including point-of-sale (POS) terminals and other financial facilities will be installed in the service sites.
