A promotion and transaction activity for new technologies and achievements in the energy field developed by provincial-level enterprises was held at Taiyuan Coal Transaction Center on Sept 16.
The activity is part of the 2018 China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo, which is currently taking place in Taiyuan, capital of North China’s Shanxi province, from Sept 16 to 18.
It was hosted by Shanxi Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, with participation by 13 companies and scientific research institutions.
The 13 projects promoted during the activity included the new energy big data innovation platform developed by State Grid Qinghai Electric Power Company, the water detection technology in mine goafs (the void left by mined coal) and the ground extraction and utilization technology of coal gas developed by the First Exploration Bureau of China National Administration of Coal Geology, the technology of producing compressed natural gas from straws developed by Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the laser cladding technology developed by Shanxi Water Industry Investment.
During this year’s expo, the exhibition and transaction area for new technologies and achievements in the energy field cover an area measuring 4,600 square meters, displaying technologies and products of companies and research institutes from all over the world.
